I've done the first aid at work course with Tidal 3 times now and always had a fantastic experience! The Booking is easy, the information they send prior is always clear and well timed, and the course itself is always great - fun and engaging while still providing the necessary info to pass the course; the instructor is friendly, shares real world experiences and stories to go along with the theory, and the day is always paced nicely with enough breaks and opportunities to ask questions! I'm also super grateful for all the amazing work the team have put into providing de-fibs all across the town to make then accessible whenever needed! Thanks!

Educating the public in Emergency First Aid training makes our community a safer place, which has been made even safer still when you consider Clare Seed’s work on her not-for-profit Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign. By putting lifesaving, publicly accessible defibrillators in key areas in and around Cheltenham, Clare has made our community a safer, brighter place whilst saving lives in the process. It was absolutely astounding to find out that this campaign is no more than a hobby of Clare’s – it’s hard to imagine where she finds the time in the day to do such incredible work on top of working her day job! From my initial enquiry about courses, they were very efficient and I booked on straight away when I received the booking information. The venue was great for the day and I really enjoyed the course because it was taken by a paramedic who had up to date hands on experience of dealing with poorly people. Tidal training was superb! Could not have asked for anything more! The training provided was above average; clear, concise and easy to understand! A genuinely lovely company. Very concerned for their clients' happiness and satisfaction. Very professional and organised everything beautifully. The trainers were AMAZING. Really bright and knowledgeable, able to respond to questions, kind, funny, friendly and approachable. Training can sometimes feel only partially useful, but this all felt like things we needed and would use, presented thoughtfully and clearly by brilliant trainers. After attending this first aid training I was impressed with the amount of information that was covered in the day as well as being taught in such an engaging manor so the information was retained well.I especially liked that the trainer for the course was an active Paramedic and was able to relate the first aid training to real life scenarios and experiences and share stories which kept the course interesting and gave character to the course.Overall an enjoyable training course which has left me feeling confident in providing many forms of first aid, highly recommended.

Brilliant course! Amazing to be able to practice CPR with a live link to assessment software. Now I know my skills are going to be effective if ever needed. I went on the Emergency First Aid at Work training day at the Isbourne in Cheltenham. It was an excellent day and the training was a very high standard. Clare and the team offer a very high level of customer service ans the session is highly recommended.UPDATE: Three years later and I have now fully updated my first aid qualification with Tidal Training Direct. The course was carried out in person in a fully socially distanced way and I had every confidence that it was safe and sterile. Thank you.

I went on the First Aid Course with Tidal Training and I am so glad I did. The course was extremely well run; the tutor, a fully qualified paramedic with military and ambulance experience, was easy to follow and learn from. We had theoretical and practical teaching and a book to take home. We all learned a lot and enjoyed it too.I did have the need to use what I had learned. I arrived on a scene where somebody needed CPR and the 999 call had already been made. As I started, the 999 operator asked me whether I was confident to proceed. I said that I had First Aid training from Tidal Training and was already applying the CPR as I had been taught.I can not recommend this course highly enough. Going along could make all the difference and save lives

I am very proud of Tidal Direct for being able to continue to offer their essential and vital first aid training services over the last year. Not an easy job for a small local business teaching face to face during a pandemic Tidal still found time to invest in the local community and also ran free Zoom theory sessions to support learners in maintaining current theory knowledge until they could be in the classroom to renew their qualifications. One of these courses saved someone's life following a heart attack. Keep up the good work, we're all proud of you. What you do makes a difference every day.

I have recently completed the EFAW training course which was very well run, the Trainer made sure that we were all socially distanced and felt comfortable in the room. We each had our own manikin and equipment to use and the trainer explained how the equipment had been cleaned and sanitised to a high standard which was very reassuring and made me feel very confident that it was safe to use. The course itself I would highly recommend people to go on as it was very informative from the Trainers Knowledge to the course handouts and slides used, what I also liked was how interactive the trainer made the session.I have come away having never done a First Aid course before feeling very confident that if needed I could Put the skills I have learnt into use. Thank you Tidal Training Direct for the opportunity to learn such a vital new skill.

We had the most wonderful experience with Tidal Training Direct Ltd, from the moment we enquired with Clare, to the training itself with Alun. Nothing was too much trouble! We felt all measures had been taken to give us safe and secure training, while also keeping it interactive and engaging. The course itself did not disappoint, Alun gave us all the confidence to practice first aid and made gaining our Level 3 Award an enjoyable experience. We had all previously taken the training with other companies and have never come away feeling as informed as we did after our session with Alun. Thank you so much to the team at Tidal Training for the Emergency First Aid Training I received yesterday. As a small business owner I needed to ensure I had someone in the office who could be on hand should something horrible happen to a staff member. I sent 2 colleagues on the training course last year and both were so glad they learnt the techniques to help. As such I decided I would also like to do this not just for work but incase I could be of assistance anywhere else. The training was fantastic and it gave me a feeling of comfort knowing if someone was to get into an accident or have a stroke/heart attack etc I could be of some help in the interim. I would advise that not only businesses do this course but people at home too who could be there if needed for a loved one or passer by. Thanks so much - Alan

Tidal training are brilliant at working with you so you get the best you can from your training. They are very understanding of any needs you may have and look after you from start to finish. The training itself is relevant and taught in a manner appropriate to the group. There is a good mix of practical and theory is taught in an interactive way. The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable. Would highly reccomend to anyone.
