Tidal Director & Public Hearts Founder Awarded Gloucestershire Live Local Business Hero 2022
Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign has come a long way since Chris and I founded it back in 2018. Delighted to be so warmly welcomed at Randall & Payne LLP Cheltenham Racecourse for #GlosBizAwards on Thursday after a busy couple of weeks facilitating the latest installations of the G4S defibrillators and Spirax Sarco donated cabinets. It was amazing to receive the Spirax Sarco UK and Ireland Local Business Hero Award for our commitment to raise awareness and numbers and lifesaving defibs in Cheltenham and the wider community. This time last year, there were no public access defibrillators in Cheltenham town centre apart from the one that Cheltenham BID generously funded for us pre Covid For the record, this is on behalf of all the amazing people who back and support the campaign.
So many organisations have benefited from our collaborative teamwork and commitment to link these vital pieces of equipment to the community where they’re needed including: Moon under Water, United Services Club, Holy Trinity Primary School ,The Brewery Quarter (with 2 public access defibrillators) Caring for Communities and People, The Ewe Space – GL Communities, Gloucester City Mission, Cheltenham Martial Arts, Cheltenham Open Door, Cheltenham Spa Bowling Club, Frog and Fiddle, Salem Baptist Church, The Sober Parrot, Stay Lets, Spectre, The London Inn, Copa, iX/ The Pod, The Somerset Arms, DEYA Brewing, East Glos Club Cheltenham, Chun F Kong and University of Gloucestershire, inside sweat, Masjid E Noor Mosque, Parabola Investments, Brandon Trust, The Nelson Trust & our wonderful friends and neighbours Evans Jones
With more in the pipeline!
