Tidal Direct Celebrates our 8th year of First Aid Training

8 years ago today, we created the sister company to Tidal Training Ltd specifically to deliver high quality, super practical, Ofqual regulated first aid training taught by teacher trained clinical professionals

During this time we have successfully trained thousands and thousands of learners, here in Cheltenham and throughout England and Wales in topics from anaphylaxis, choking and of course, CPR and use of a defibrillator as a standard part of all of our training content.

As one of the jewels in the crown of our outstanding Awarding Body Qualsafe Awards, we take great pride and diligence in delivering the very best first aid training to groups and also through our monthly open course available to all on the 3rd Weds each month here in Cheltenham.

8 years ago, the market was particularly cost driven and was losing sight of the value, quality, and skills that are so vital to teach and give confidence to act. As are area’s highest rated first aid trading providers, Tidal Training Direct Ltd continues to lead the way in collaboration with our mothership Tidal Training Ltd to teach the skills, the knowledge and the confidence to give someone the best chance on their worst day.

First aid does save lives and regardless of whether it’s a legal requirement for employers to have fit and adequate first aid provision to look after their staff should they become ill or injured at work; the value and the measure of the success is in the confidence to act and step forwards in those vital moments Over the years, our learners have helped others and on occasion, themselves in a critical and life-changing moments, saving lives.

That’s how I measure success and here’s to many more.

Wonderful training day, I now feel so much more confident in delivering First Aid thanks to Tidal Training Direct. I hope I don't need to use my skills but I am pleased I have the confidence and vital knowledge available to help save someone's life.

I attended my first course yesterday and what a wonderfully empowering experience it was. The highly trained paramedic teaching put us at ease straight away and I am looking forward to learning more of these invaluable skills. Lovely staff and great communication too. Brilliant course! Amazing to be able to practice CPR with a live link to assessment software. Now I know my skills are going to be effective if ever needed. Very reassuring to have my own CPR dummy for the duration of the course, and super confident of the safety protocols that Clare and the Tidal team have in place.

A genuinely lovely company. Very concerned for their clients' happiness and satisfaction. Very professional and organised everything beautifully. The trainers were AMAZING. Really bright and knowledgeable, able to respond to questions, kind, funny, friendly and approachable. Training can sometimes feel only partially useful, but this all felt like things we needed and would use, presented thoughtfully and clearly by brilliant trainers. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tidal and will certainly use them again. Thank you!

After attending this first aid training I was impressed with the amount of information that was covered in the day as well as being taught in such an engaging manor so the information was retained well. I especially liked that the trainer for the course was an active Paramedic and was able to relate the first aid training to real life scenarios and experiences and share stories which kept the course interesting and gave character to the course. Overall an enjoyable training course which has left me feeling confident in providing many forms of first aid, highly recommended.

Had a first aid at work training with Tidal and it was a great experience overall. The teacher was clear and very knowledgeable, the class went at a really good pace there was plenty of time to ask questions when needed yet the day went by very quickly!
